Warranty Terms

18 months warranty policy (handsets only):

Join-in Citylink member scheme when you purchasing, the product purchased is entitled to warranty service and no additional registration is required. Handsets products in order to enjoy an additional 6 months warranty service (NOT included APPLE products).
The warranty period is started from the date of the invoice.

Warranty and 7-Day Exchange Policy of Mobile Phones and Tablets:

Mobile phones and tablets are warranted respectively by the Official Repair and Service Centers (licensed goods) or Cityone Care (imported goods). All warranty claims must comply with the Warranty Terms and Conditions of the Official Repair and Service Centers or that of Cityone Care. They are at their discretion judgments and determinations to the products.

7-Day Exchange Policy, from the date of purchasing, is applicable to Mobile Phones and Tablets. Such claims must comply with the Terms and Conditions of the 7-Day Exchange Policy:

The 7-Day Exchange Policy should not apply to:

    • Defects or damage resulting from misuse, accident, Acts of God, neglect, improper testing, installation, alteration or modification of any kind, or spillage of liquid or food;
    • Products which have had warranty seals, IMEI/Serial/Identification numbers made illegible, removed or damaged;
    • Display screen, any surfaces or all externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to customer normal use;
    • Stuck pixel line(s) on display;
    • Display screen, any surfaces or all externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to customer normal use;
    • Stuck pixel line(s) on display;
    • Maintenance or repair performed by service personnel not authorized by Official
    • Repair and Service Centers (licensed goods) or Cityone Care (imported goods). Unable to read or eject SIM card or memory card;
    • Unable to be powered on;
    • Unable to on-screen display the identical IMEI number to that on the invoice;
    • Unable to return full original packaging in like new condition;
  1. Exchanges must be claimed at the shop of where products were originally bought.
  2. Only products in identical model and color will be exchanged.
  3. No refund on any commodities.
  4. Must present valid invoice. A surcharge of $100.00 arises for issuing replacement invoice.
  5. Products will be sent to Official Repair and Service Centers (licensed goods) or Cityone Care (imported goods) for examination before exchange. Time of the examination is beyond control of Citylink.
  6. The tolerance of dead pixels on display is 3 spots. When there are 3 spots or below appeared on the display, the product is considered to be normal and will neither be repaired nor replaced.
  7. SIM card adaptors are not allowed.

  1. The carrying out of exchange claims are as follows:
    • Official Products
      - Warranty periods are show on the invoice, goods are claimed at Official Repair Service Centers.
    • Imported products
      - Warranty periods are show on the invoice, goods are claimed at Cityone Care.

*Other clauses are same as mobile phones and tablets warranty terms items 3-8.

Warranty of Accessories:

Customers should approach Official Repair and Service Centers (licensed goods)or Cityone Care (imported goods) for service claims.
