Sennheiser HD660S are the ideal open-back dynamic headphones for the avid audiophile. Crafted for the demanding listener, the HD660S builds on the legendary HD 650 headphones and not only surpasses the superior performance of its predecessor, but also boasts a newly improved transducer design for lower Harmonic distortion for a more natural, lifelike audio experience. The sound quality is extremely precise, transparent and expressive enough to immerse you in every mood and detail of the music.

With a low impedance of 150 ohms and a wider choice of cables, including balanced (4.4 mm Pentaconn) and 6.35 mm jacks, the HD 660 S offers greater versatility, allowing users to use both stationary and mobile players , can enjoy reference-level high-fidelity sound quality.

The Sennheiser HD 660 S is designed to meet the diversity of today's hi-fi experience. It connects directly to high-quality fixed hi-fi components.

Various connection options are available - the detachable cable offers a 6.35 mm stereo jack or a balanced 4.4 mm Pentaconn stereo jack, and a 6.35 mm to 3.5 mm adapter is also available. The custom detachable under-ear is constructed from highly conductive OFC copper cable for extremely low handling noise and reinforced para-aramid.

Improved acoustic design ensures better sound quality. Through a purpose-built precision stainless steel structure, the new transducer design provides greater control over diaphragm movement to conform to the diaphragm's contours. This transducer also features an extremely lightweight aluminum voice coil for the highest pulse fidelity. Improvements to these features ensure that the Sennheiser HD 660 S has an authentic sound – crisp bass, excellent mid-range response and soft, pleasing natural highs.
